We had a wonderful Sunday lunch, our food was amazing, everything was perfect! We were looked after so well, nothing was too much trouble and the roaring fire was very welcoming on a cold February morning

The Mansion House is truly a gem in the centre of Louth. The menu is extensive and varied and such good quality! Andrew and his team have really made this place such an asset to the town, whether that’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Book to avoid disappointment, once you’ve been once you’ll be desperate to return!

A lovely historic old building in the centre of Louth. We have eaten there many times and its always superb. It has quite an extensive menu from sandwiches, snacks, smaller portions; a large vegetarian menu and many main courses including salads. The portion sizes are always good so you won't leave hungry. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly. A lovely quiet ambience without music playing loudly in the background as in many other places. Many stand out meals , Cheese souffle, crispy beef, Curry, salads, chicken or haddock goujons, breakfasts etc.

Our lunchtime Christmas party was very pleasant. A little cool in the dining room, but the food was delightful and plentiful. Service was fair and friendly, if a little slow at the start.

My wife and I went for afternoon tea at the Mansion House, Louth yesterday and wow, what an experience. Everything was over and above what we expected. Perfect in fact. The food was absolutely wonderful with a delicious selection of savouries, sandwiches, scones, cakes and so much more. The ambience of this lovely building was a wonderful setting and the food was scrumptious - and lots of it! The staff were attentive, wonderful and very helpful. My wife has previously had afternoon tea at The Ritz in London and she commented that this experience even topped that. There was a talented musician playing a grand piano which added to the overall atmosphere. We’re lucky to have such a great venue so close to home.

Great services as usual. Best haddock goujons around! As a chef I’ve had Club sandwiches everywhere, London, Brighton countless places abroad and I can honestly say the Mansion House Club Sandwich is one of the best!!! You must try it!

My partner and I visited the Mansion House last night for dinner. The food was exceptional, the building was stunning, and the staff were lovely - we were made to feel very comfortable and welcome as soon as we entered. What a special place.

Chill crispy beef blows you away.
Salmon tagliatelle mouth watering.
Good old sausage and mash.
White cheesecake with fruit and lemon curd ice cream so light.

What a pleasure to dine here. I am lucky enough to have eaten out a lot in recent months across Europe and this was the best meal yet. Prices for a main course were around 20-30 pounds, and while this is not unusual, the fact that this was well worth the money was unusual! Also the building itself, just take a little time to look around you, ask about its history as a library, a jail a meeting house and before and imagine what it would have been like. Plus - excellent service. A genuinely well earned 5 stars.

Absolutely wonderful meal. The history of the building is incredible & the owner has done a fantastic job fixing up the place. We had two vegans in the group & the servers made a point to remember, which is always much appreciated. Plenty of vegan/veggie options and everyone’s dishes were delicious. The vegan hazelnut and chocolate cheesecake was especially divine. A very special place!

Really lovely friendly place, serving generous portions of interesting and very tasty food. We had a lunch with 6 fairly fussy adults who were all very satisfied 👏🤗 The only slight point we felt was that the nature of the building and decor makes it echoey and quite noisy when busy.

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch/ Dinner here in this wonderful building. Situated right by a beautiful church, The Mansion House is the perfect place to eat. The menu is well thought out, and I wanted to try everything. The staff were all lovely and helpful,It was my Mums birthday and they gave her a candle in her dessert which was nice. There is also a nice little garden out back to sit and let your food go down with a nice view of the church there. Could not fault anything, so thank you, and I will be back if ever I'm in Louth again 👍🏼

Can't believe that we haven't visited The Mansion House before, despite people telling us to go. 4 of us had a lovely lunch, the food was very good, staff were attentive and helpful and the setting is lovely, will definitely visit again soon.
